Pledge to deliver Odunzeh at the grassroots
Ahead of the November 11 election, the entire leadership of APC Imo Coalition group in the 27 LGAs and 305 wards in Imo State have collapsed into New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and adopted Hon Uche Ben Odunzeh as their consensus candidate in the upcoming election.
Speaking at the meeting on behalf of group, Barr Anthony Amadi a Frontline politician commended and expressed the group’s reservation to support Hon Odunzeh based on his current rating as the most favoured amongst the candidates. He maintained that Hon Uche Odunzeh as a youth understands better the plights of the youths in the state as well as the masses in general.
His campaign manifesto is simply the best on how to help address critical socio economic matters. “We know amongst the candidates that Hon Uche Ben Odunzeh is more on the ground, very friendly, more accessible and acceptable.”
“The candidate is not just capable and qualified, but very prepared and well equipped to govern Imo.”

“We have confidence in Hon Uche Ben Odunzeh as one with capacity, integrity and excessively loved by the grassroots.
He went further to say that the resolution to adopt Hon Odunzeh is born out of the quest to put the right person to deliver Imo State out of the present misrule which has put untold hardship on its citizens. Insecurity, corruption and negligence of duty just to mention but a few.
Barr Amadi maintained that their group comprising eggheads from the three zones, are optimistic that we their support Odunzeh will emerge victorious and call on Imolites to vote for him during the upcoming election.
The group pledged their loyalty and support for Hon Uche Ben Odunzeh and promised to deliver him the same way they delivered Senator Hope Uzodinma as the APC candidate in 2019 against the wishes of former Gov Rochas Okorocha.
Some of the notable leaders in attendance include Chief Hon Eze Nnanna leader and representative of Okigwe zone, Chief John Bosco representative for Orlu zone while Chief Hon Isaac Onuekwusi representative of Owerri zone.
With over two thousand membership across the state, Chief Isaac Onuekwusi said that Hon Odunzeh stand a better chance to become the next Governor of Imo State given the current development.
The APC chieftain Chief Eze Nnanna who spoke as well said, “Today, APC and PDP are dead in Okigwe zone. We have resolved to collapse our structures in the zone into NNPP and to work for the victory of Hon Odunzeh. Odunzeh symbolises the hope of the ordinary people in Imo State.
“Odunzeh is the youngest, tested and trusted and he has the majority support of the people who voted Sen Hope Uzodinma to become APC candidate in 2018, he asserted.
