2023: Onyejeocha Has Failed Our People, She Shouldn’t Be Reelected – US-based Businessman

A United States based real estate entrepreneur, Mr John Juruobi, has berated the member representing Isikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, saying the lawmaker has underperformed.

Juruobi, in a chat with newsmen on Saturday urged the electorate to reject Onyejeocha with their votes, noting that her 16 years at the national assembly was a “total waste”.

“We cannot afford another mistake of enthroning  incompetence after such underperformance from Onyejeocha. What can she point at as her achievement after 16 years? She has underperformed and we cannot trust her with our votes in 2023. Reelecting her in 2019 was a terrible mistake and we cannot afford to repeat it in 2023. She neither has any physical infrastructure or project she has either attracted or installed directly for her constituents, nor is there any single constituent of hers she has empowered after those years of being a federal legislator.

“I am challenging Nkeiruka   Onyejeocha to show what she has done for the people that elected her but who she has long abandoned to make up numbers for another state. It is a known fact that while other federal legislators have attracted projects to their state and sponsored Bills to support their people, Onyejeocha cannot even account for the monies paid to her as constituency allowances over the past fifteen and half years that have reportedly run into billions of naira.

“How can a lady who insulted Isikwuato Local Government Area be reelected? What is her scorecard for our people? I am yet to see any meaningful project done by her. People like her and Abaribe don’t have any business seeking reelection after spending so many years in Abuja doing nothing. Reelecting her for the 5th time is going to be an insult on our people and we must resist it.
