The worsening security situation in Governor Hope Uzodimma’s senatorial zone, Orlu has continued to give reasons for worry, as situation has continued unabated.
A man identified as Nnoruoka Onyeokwu from Eziuba Ubudom was beheaded on Friday and his head displayed at State Primary School Ubudom Atta, Njaba Local Government Area of lmo State, Nigeria.
Njaba LGA generally has been under ceaseless attacks from daredevil gunmen couples with military activities in the area. And most of the killings have been occured under controversial circumstances.
According to sources, late Onyeokwu was devout catholic and a peaceful man.
The heart of insecurity is in Imo is Orlu zone – Orlu, Oru East, Njaba, Nkwere, Orsu local government areas seem to be under a curse of self destruct.

While Indigenous People of Biafra , IPOB, was blamed for security crisis in the area, however developments have shown otherwise with some suspects who have rather confessed on the contrary.
Governor Uzodimma at various media outings has since stopped blaming IPOB but politicians who he said are hell bent on making the state ungovernable.
With the unfortunate development, most communities have been deserted even as the situation has caused so much hardship that most people in the troubles areas are migrating to the Owerri and other neighbouring states.
Some villagers are pointing accusing fingers at the government for bringing war, killings hardship to them by deploying the military in Orlu zone, saying that most innocent people have met their end in the present circumstance since every resident or villager is now considered a perceived enemy
Meanwhile, three traditional rulers from the same Njaba local government area were murdered in a cold blood.
The first two victims who came from Okwudor were shot by gunmen at the local government headquarters during a meeting called at the instance of the Chairman of the loca government.
