The Ambassador Ade Mario-led administration of Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security and Safety Affairs has called on the government to take it as one of its core duties to empower the youths as one of the key factors of securing the future.

National Coordinator CONYSSA, in his Statement that reads in part; “We hereby appeal to our governments at all levels to deem it fit in empowering the youths adequately.
The youths need adequate empowerment because anything half-baked tends to be ill-productive in the society.”
“Our government should also empower the youths we are at the age that we have the strength to tackle any form of insecurity.”
Equally, Amb. Ade calls on other youth groups, or organizations to synergize with CONYSSA in tackling drug abuse, and to organize sensitization programs, symposia, town-hall meetings in other to educate our people on the need to be security conscious as a way of assisting the security officers in ably discharging their duties.”

On the final note, we hereby call on the youths across the country to locate the local government coordinator of CONYSSA in each of their Local governments, and they should endeavor to join them in the campaign against drug abuse and other vices that may lead to another form of security threat.
