As part of his efforts to continue to promote Igbo culture in the Diaspora, His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeohazurume1) Eze Ndi Igbo Ghana and the Assistant Publicity Secretary, Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora in company of Obieziokwu palace elders, his wife, Her Majesty Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu and his households, on Saturday, 30th October graced the New Yam Festival of Eze Udo Adoteima, Ghana, HRH Eze Dr. Chuma Raymond Okadigbo.
The Eze Udo is the king of Ndigbo in Adoteima local Government in Ghana under the paramountcy of HRM Eze Dr Ihenetu.
That day proved to be colourful as people from far and near thronged the venue to felicitate with the Eze Udo.
In his congratulatory message to HRH Eze Dr. Okadigbo, Eze Udo Adoteima, HRM Dr Ihenetu who is the paramount King of Igbo in Ghana, described Eze Okadigbo as illustrious Igbo son who has helped to inculcate Igbo culture among Ndigbo in Adoteima.

“This sterling qualities endeared him to me, hence I, palace elders and my wife, Her Majesty Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu and my household attended the New Yam festival which was also used to mark his 7 years on throne as king of NdIgbo in Adoteima under my paramountcy as Eze Ndigbo of Ghana gburugburu.”
When it was time to cut the New Yam, as mark of honour, HRM Ihenetu, Palace Elders and his wife, Her Majesty Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu joined HRH Eze Dr. Okadigbo to cut and eat the new yam.
While appealing to Ndigbo in Adoteima to continue to cooperate with HRH Dr. Okadigbo by being submissive and law abiding, HRM Dr. Ihenetu concluded by praying for long life, good health and prosperity. He added that God willing next year, he would also join them to celebrate.
HRH Dr. Okadigbo thanked all in attendance that came from far and near to felicitate with him. The Eze also wished them well as they departed to their various homes.
