FAMILY BACKGROUND
Casca Ohanele is a Nigerian born Addiction Counselor, Media practitioner and political analyst, based in the United States of America. Born in Eziala Nguru Umunneato Autonomous Community of Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, Nigeria into the family of the late Traditional Prime Minister of Nguru Nweke clan, Nze C.A Ohanele. Casca served in many capacities in Nigeria before relocating to the United States
EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS
Our man of the moment, Casca Ohanele attended the prestigious University of Port Harcourt, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. His quest for excellence, good governance and love for investigative reporting prompted his sojourn into journalism, and he acquired a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the famous International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, Nigeria. He practiced journalism at the highest level in Nigeria before travelling overseas for greener pastures. In the United States, Casca Ohanele did not stop his search for knowledge that will benefit humanity especially Nigerian population. Considering the growing cases of drug menace in Nigeria, Casca decided to study addiction counseling to acquire proficiency in solving drug problems. This quest informed his acquiring a masters’ degree, MSc. in Addiction Counseling at the Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ, USA..
