The President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, High Chief Chidi Ibe, MFR, has condemned the purported youth and women elections conducted by Obiozor faction
The President General cautions the youths and women to avoid being used to Impersonate the dully elected executives of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

Chief Ibe maintained that the purported and kangaroo election which were conducted in Enugu on Thursday and Friday, August 4 and 5 that Produced Mr Damian Okafor from Ebonyi State and Mrs Daniel Rita from Delta state as the new youth and woman leaders respectively was a nullity, illegal and should be discountenanced.
Engr Chidi Ibe stressed that the authentic youth, women wings and other executives had emerged hitherto, and in January after general election and emergence of him, High Chief Chidi Ibe as the President general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Engr Chidi Ibe also insisted that he is the authentic president general of the apex socio-cultural group in Igbo land. He was genuinely and dully elected along side with his executives, including the youth and women wings elections that were subsequently conducted.
Through the statement, The President general promised that his leadership will continue to live up to expectation and deliver good and effective leadership to Ndigbo and Igbo nation.
Also stressed that he will ensure the application of equity, Justice and fairness in the administration and management of the affairs of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide.

He concludes that the youth and women election conducted by Obiozor faction is illegal, null and void. He urges ndigbo and the general public to completely disassociate themselves from such kangaroo, purported and illegality in the name of election just to distract the peace of the land. He said.
