Heavily Armed gunmen, yet to be identified, have attacked two offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in Ebonyi state, set the building and facilities ablaze, hotmedia.ng gathered.

The incident which occured in the late hours of Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Ezza North and Ebonyi Local Government Areas of the state recorded no casualties but left extensive damages to the building and facilities.
Recently, INEC Offices are being set ablaze in most of the states in Southeast and Southsouth regions of the country by unidentified assailants.
