
The Social Democratic Party, SDP presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo has claimed that the gas reserves in the soil of the Niger Delta region is worth three hundred times more than the entire wealth of the United States of America.
The assertion was made irrespective of the newly found proven gas reserves in the Kolomani oil field of Northern Nigeria that has newly started production.
Neither did the SDP leader refer to the wealth of gas fracking in addition to the enormous resources of the United States of America.

The presidential candidate of the SDP made the assertion in a Radio/Television station called Brekete that is hosted by self styled Ordinary President, Ahmed Musa.
Brekete radio/television broadcast in Pidgin English and it hosted the candidate on their platform to give Adebayo the chance to talk about his policies to ordinary Nigerians.
During the broadcast, Adebayo seemed miffed that despite the enormous gas reserves in Nigeria, citizens were still cooking with firewood and it’s attendant pollution and apparent deforestation that it comes with.

Adebayo used the opportunity to expantiate on his plans to make Nigeria work if elected as president of the country.
