2023: Tinubu, Atiku, Osinbajo, Others Lost Out As NYCN President, Amb Sukubo Declares Youth Mandate, Insists Candidates Must Be Low 55yrs

In Port Harcourt, the president of National council of Nigeria, NYCN, Amb Sukubo Sara-igbe Sukubo, while celebrating his Youthful and 35 years birthday on the 15th of January, 2022  in an attendance of youth leaders across the country, prominent and notable Nigerians. The Nigeria Youth president showers praises and gratitude to Almighty for taken him so far in the service to God and humanity.

Ambassador Sukubo Sara-igbe Sukubo while addressing the press during the birthday celebration at Golden Tulips Hotel, GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He declared that the Nigerian Youth Mandate in 2023 general election is that “president, Governors, Senators Honourable members, Others to be supported and elected by the youth and Nigerians in 2023 general election must be persons who are low 55 Years of age”.

He maintained that 2023 general election is the new dawn for the youth to take over the leadership of Nigeria, completely and totally from the hands of old Bridge and reposition it for global competition and development.

The Nigerian Youth president call on the Nigerian to take this opportunity of youth Mandate to participate and contribute their quota in the Nation building and governance of this country.

He emphasized that Intending aspirants and candidates for 2023 elections, should be a person of sound mind and body.

He must be one with clean bill of health free from terminal illness at the time of running for office, who would not be seen to frequently abdicate the functions of his office or found wanting in the performance of his job , because of frequent overseas hospitalization and treatment at the expense of tax payers money and resources of our nation.

The intending aspirants and candidates must satisfy all the constitutional requirements for running office , without mumbo jumbo cover up to lie to Nigerians on his or her qualifications and background requisitions.

Must be someone with good functional education, at least a College Certificate or University
Degree , capable of appreciating the import , purport and implications of the challenges of his office and must be ready to defend his academic records when called up than playing the ostrich.

Must be one with a good conscience and ascertainable principles and a person of good character with the heart and ingenuity of making sound decisions.

Must someone who respects and applies the rule of law in all government actions and in his Presidential deportment without flinching.

Must be one who respect the citizens basic, constitutional rights and safeguards, rights of women and children and must not have been indicted of abuses to women and children.

Must be a person of good character with a marketable, charismatic personality before Nigerians and should not be at large in International Bilateral and Multilateral Summits where Nigeria’s interests are at stake. He must be one Nigerians could vouch for and hold accountable.

Must one who must be ready to defend us and our constitution upon taking the oath of office and should be able to work assiduously without weakness to defend Nigerians from terrorists and enemies to our nation. Must be ready to be above board , to lead with integrity and honor without blemish.

President, National Youth Council of Nigeria thank the leaders and members of National Youth Council of Nigeria for always identifying with him and mutual corporation he enjoys from the NYCN. He charged youth to be ready and prepar to take up the mantle of leadership come 2023. He said that youth under his able leadership will map out strategies and resources soonest to ensure the realization of the “Youth Mandate come 2023”
