Says APC Lacks Internal Democracy And Never A People Oriented Party
OUR DOORS ARE WIDE OPEN… Says Imo APGA Chairman
Fresh crisis rocks Imo APC as a lot of her members feel disappointed after the messy Party Congresses.
“It is very unfortunate at the level Imo APC has deteriorated under the present Imo government” ~ according to some of the Party leaders. *”APC is likely to collapse in Imo State, as there is no internal democracy.* Party members were not really carried along on the goings-on, except the few chosen ones by the Governor. The so called Congress activitiea were unsuccessful, as the Party woefully failed to conduct a peaceful and transparent Congress.

We all hoped for things to be done right, but are disappointed the way everything went. Therefore, we shall make bold step on the way forward to rescue Ndi Imo from such undemocratic government. The good people of Imo State always seek for a people oriented government. But what we bargained for, is no more what is offered to us. It is quite unfortunate.”
“As a matter of fact, we have decided on the way forward. It is not bad at all for us to join the *All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA* as we all have seen that Imo APGA is currently a peaceful Party, in other to rescue Imo State from the hands of political bandits.
The present APC which has the Imo State government today is not people oriented.
Power belongs to the people, and not to a particular individual or group of individuals who see themselves as political friends to the Governor. Therefore, we have taken our destiny with our own hands by having a rethink on the way forward, for the betterment of Ndi Imo.” The only way forward is to move enmass and join the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA where we have observed peace, tranquility and people oriented leadership performances which is the only way to salvage Imo State.

According to some aggrieved Imo APC members, the Congress was nothing but a disgrace and betrayal to our democracy.
As at the time of filling this report, it was gathered that a leadership meeting has been summoned across the 305 electoral wards of the 27 LGAs in the state to fine-tune possible way for their official decamping to APGA.
When contacted, the state Chairman of APGA in Imo State, Hon John Iwuala who confirmed the story said that *APGA Doors are wide open and can accommodate all of them.*
According to the APGA Chairman, a good number of some agreived APC members have contacted many of our Ward chairmen and LGA Chairmen expressing their greiviances over the messy APC ward Congresses and their collective intention to join APGA. They claimed to be over 5,000 members joining APGA. *’I have directed their Frontline leaders to coordinate the processes with our Ward and LGA Chairmen’* Iwuala said.

As it stands now, the ill fated APC ward Congresses has once again put the party into a muddy waters that no one knows how Imo APC can survive the journey.
Our investigation gathered so far reveals that All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Imo State Chapter have for the past months been on grassroot structural reengineering of the grassroot base of the party without making much noise. As it stands today, Imo APGA has gradually restored it’s lost glory under the current leadership of Hon John Iwuala.
This is evident from sources and confessions of the agreived APC members as one of the reasons that motivated them to choose APGA as their render of the last resort polically.
