Hon. Uche Ben Odunzeh has praised the 10th House of Representatives for Considering the first reading of the bill for the creation of Orlu State
Hon. Odunzeh who is the 2023 Governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Imo state described the bill as a well thought saying the first reading of the bill has raised high hopes and will address long agitations of marginalization.
He explained that geographical map is in tandem with the proposed bill maintaining that it will heal cry of injustices and create balance in the number of states amongst geopolitical zones in the country.
He Equally called on the House of Representatives to speedy actions on the bill for passage and to get the assent of the president. According to him, when the bill is passed into law, it will douse tension in southeast particularly the fragiled Imo State.
