Serve The People, Nwaudunna Congratulates Nwifuru, Mbah, Otti, Charges Them On Human Capital Development

Chief Barr Ifeanyi Bernard Nwaudunna, an APC chieftain and a well-known Igbo Youth leader has congratulated the new inaugurated Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, his Enugu State counterpart, Peter Mbah, as well as Alex Otti of Abia State, on their successful inauguration as the executive governor of their respective states.

Chief Nwaudunna in press a statement signed by himself urged the new governors to focus on delivering on their electoral promises and service to the people who elected them.

“With the respective victory of Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, Chief Alex Otti, and Dr Peter Mbah, the people have spoken loud and clear in the three South East states.

“What is left is for the newly elected chief executives to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running now they are sworn-in as the executive governors of their respective states.

“For me and the entire South-east people, this is a call to duty and the trust of the electorates must not be taken for granted by the newly elected leaders.

“South East requires special attention in areas of security of lives and property as well as infrastructure development.

“I therefore call on all the newly inaugurated governors of South East to come together irrespective of party affiliations to ensure that they dialogue with the youths in the zone and find a lasting peace for even development of the South East region,” Nwaudunna stated.

Chief Nwaudunna said the administration of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Hon Francis Nwifuru should remain focused and committed towards the wellbeing of Ebonyi people, adding that he should strive to ensure that peace is restored at the different boundaries of Ebonyi state.

That Nwifuru should target human capital development to form his administration’s major focus. He told the Ebonyi governor. Also charges other two governors, Alex Otti and Peter Mbah of Abia and Enugu respectively to pay more attention to human capital development in the southeast region of Nigeria.

Barr Nwaudunna described human capital development as critical to the growth of any region or nation in the World.

“People are the real assets in any economy,” he said, adding that the region’s economic well-being needed very skilful manpower to drive operations.

He said that human capital which is the greatest capital of the South East region should be increasingly explored to project the region to greater economic growth.

He explained that Human Capital is the only dependable resource for yesterday, today, and tomorrow for South East.

Advising the new South-east Governors Nwaudunna said: “We will not get anywhere unless we fully utilize human capital.

“How does the South East, with its uniqueness and vast resources dispersed throughout the world, ratchet up the homeland and build the ones for tomorrow? What do we need to do differently?

“There’s a lot more work to be done for the South East in addition to the ones that have already been done,” Nwaudunna stated.

According to him “We are living in the digital age and the fourth industrial revolution. How can we get from where we are now to where we need to be? How do we make use of technology without human capital development.
