Chairman-Elect Of Mokwa LGA: Hon. Muregi Says It Is A Victory For The People
The newly elected Executive Chairman of Mokwa LGA OF Niger State, HON. Jubrin Abdullahi Muregi says his emergence as the winner of the just concluded Chairmanship Polls is victory for all People of Mokwa and Young People of Nigeria. Below is his address after the official announcement of results
Having been certified and declared winner of the just concluded council elections to serve as the next Council Chairman of Mokwa Local Government, it behooved on me to first appreciate Allah for his mercies, guidance and protection at all times and this solemn period in particular.
It has been a journey of monumental proportion because the good people of Mokwa Local Government believed in our ideals and mission statements. We envisioned a Mokwa Local Government that will benefit all of us and on that vision we shall implement our mission and blueprint.

The stakeholders never doubted us one bit and we appreciate their uncommon steadfastness. From the Deputy Governor, H.E Mohammed Ketso, Comr. Abdullahi Shaba Gbara, Hon. Yahaya Sheti, Hon. Umar Zakari Rabba, My big brother Baba Ashaka and every stakeholder in Kede zone, my big brother Hon. Abdullahi Ndafogi Nasiru, our daddy Alh. Aliyu Takuma, Hon. Ibrahim Kodondo and all the youths behind him, Youths Council and various youths solidarity groups, women across the local government and many others.
This journey began with the good people of Kede and particularly my ward MUREGI WARD deciding that we represent their interests and that of Mokwa Local Government in general, we shall not fail them.
APC as a party as been a very big family, we shall make sure that this mandate given to us to serve will be a stepping stone to greater responsibilities for we are ready. We appreciate all the party executives up to the polling units committees. The youths and women, we appreciate all of us.
Mokwa Local Government is a land of potentials and we shall work assiduously in harnessing those potentials.
