Eid el Kabir: Sir Nwosu Felicitates  Muslim Faithfuls In The Sallah Celebration, Prays For National Unity

The APC National Welfare Secretary, Barr Sir F.N Nwosu Salutes our Muslim Brothers in Nigeria on this year’s occasion of the Eid el Kabir celebration.

I also salute His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, President and Commander in Chief of Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Senator Abdullahi Adamu CON, National Chairman of APC and all our Muslim members of APC and Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria on this occasions of Eid el Kabir. The statement reads.

I pray that the sacrifice of the great father of faith, Prophet Ibrahim and your sacrifices of today bring peace and abundant blessings to you all and our country at large. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you, your families and Muslim faithfuls Amen.

The All Progressives Congress, APC National Welfare Secretary, Barr Sir F.N Nwosu has congratulated the Muslim community on the Eid-el-Kabir Day as well as the Eid-el-Adha (feast of sacrifice), saying the two  occasions offer the the Muslims faithfuls another rare opportunity to seek God’s bounties as well as bond with one another in an atmosphere of love and unity.

Sir F. N, admonished the Muslims to emulate the righteousness and great virtues of the Islam Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).

The National Welfare Secretary of the ruling party, APC in the press release made available to newsmen stressed that the essence of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration is to offer sacrifice, express and extend love, and hope for peaceful coexistence in the country and the world at large.

He urged them and citizens back home to take advantage of the moment to beseech Allah for His continuous mercies on the country, Nigeria, and humanity as a whole.

“As you celebrate Eid-Kabir, it is our hope that the prayers of the Muslims faithfuls to the Almighty God to accept their worship and supplications of Muslims brothers,  grant us protection, guidance, and progress in our country on the path of peace and sustainable development.

“Similarly, I appeal to our compatriots to imbibe the lessons of Eid-el-Adha as exemplified by Prophets Abraham and Muhammad, which are patience, sacrifice, faith in God, resilience in good causes, and selfless service to God and humanity. Sir Nwosu said.

Barr Nwosu also encouraged the privileged and wealthy ones amongst the Muslims to intensify their acts of charity to the less privileged, saying there is love in sharing.

He pray for peace during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration even as I task Nigerians to work even harder in ensuring unity of all peoples, tribes and faiths in the country.”
