Ramadan Fasting: Prince Adebayo Urges Muslims To Be Committed, Pray For Nigeria

The presidential candidate under social democratic party, SDP, Prince Adebayo Adewole has sent his warm greetings to Muslims in the country, as regards the commencement of the fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

The SDP presidential aspirants on Friday, 1st April, took to twitter handle to felicitate with Muslims all over the country.

Recall that the sultan of sokoto had on Thursday night announced the commencement of Ramadan fasting following the sighting of the moon in some parts of the country.

Prince Adebayo said: ”In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self denial by way of fasting is a metaphor of spiritual sacrifice, a down payment on our faith in expectations of divine mercy and blessings of Allah.

”May we be so committed to building a just, fair society. Pray for Nigeria”
