According to the congress of Civil society organization in Nigeria, the philanthropist and business mogul, Prince Engr. Promise Nnanyereugo Ike has wiped tears away from the eyes of a widow, by handing her the keys to a 3-bedroom bungalow he built for her at Imu-Ohia, Ezira community in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The congress maintained that Prince Ike who is the founder and Chief Executive Officer, Prince Onyendozi Foundation, handed over the bungalow built through his foundation, at a ceremony witnessed by many stakeholders of Orumba North and South.
The housing project which started earlier this year, was delivered at commendable speed, in keeping with the desire of Prince Ike, to provide shelter and comfort for the widow, Mrs Josephine Onwuchekwa and her children, who hitherto, were living in a mud house, with leaking roofs. The congress stated in the statement.
“The project was simply one of the numerous efforts of my foundation, Prince Onyendozi Foundation, inspired by God, aimed at touching lives.
“It was a shock to me to realize that someone living very close to me, could be facing such difficulty”. The congress civil society organization in Nigeria quoted Prince Engr Promise Nnanyereugo
“Immediately I saw the mud house, I decided I would build the house and to God be the glory, that we are here today, inaugurating it,” he said” Prince Engr Promise Nnanyereugo stated, while Commisioning the house.
What the foundation has done was to put smiles on the faces of people, assuring people of Orumba North and South that he will not relent in pushing for their wellbeing.
Again During Easter season, Prince Onyendozi Feeds Over 500 Poor And Destitutes.
In a practical display of love and compliance with God’s injuction for christians to love their neighbors, Prince Onyendozi Foundation on Saturday, gave out food to the poor, the indigent and destitutes across parts of Anambra State.
Distribution of the largesse began at Ezira in Orumba South LGA and then to Umunze and Ekwulobia.
The distribution climaxed in Awka, Anambra State Capital, at various spots including UNIZIK Tempsite, Arroma Junction, Regina Caeli Junction and Eke Awka markets.
Speaking on the essence of the activity, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Prince Onyendozi Foundation, Prince Engr Promise Nnanyereugo Ike explained that it was in the spirit of Easter, which represented God’s love for mankind.
Prince Onyendozi said if God can give His Son to die for humanity, then followers of Christ must learn to give to their neighbors, especially those who do not have the means.
“What I’m doing is what God instructed and the joy in seeing the poor happy when they get these things, is immeasurable for me. I believe we can have a better society if we all learn to give. At whatever level you are, you are better off than some people. That’s why we must give,” the philanthropist opined.
