The African Cleanup Conference 2021 was hosted in Nigeria at the prestigious Best Western Hotel (BWC), Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The conference started on the 2nd of Dec, and ended on the 3rd of Dec, 2021. It was the gathering of both corporate organizations and Environmental big shots in African continent.
One of the top environmentalist that won Environmental sustainability award was a Nigerian Environmentalist Engr Ekeba, Ufuoma Abundance of CHEVRON NIGERIA LIMITED.
The Awardee Engr Ekaba Ufuoma Abundance have been a passionate environmental crusader and a lover of green environment.
Engr Ufuoma Ekeba is an environmentalist par excellence, who has contributed immensely towards environmental sustainability in Nigeria.
Sequel to his invaluable contribution towards the environment, he was awarded personality at the moment award by renowned online and digital media organization known as HOTMEDIA-NG for the month of December, 2021.
The citation of Engr Ufuoma Ekeba was read to the teeming participants who applauded his contributions to ensure environmental protection and sustainability in checkmating the ravages of carbon footprints emissions on our environment.
Engr Ufuoma Ekeba is a staff of Chevron Nigeria Limited, who equally doubles as V& V coach in Safety & Environment.
With joy and fulfillment Engr ( Dr) Yahaya Ahmed extolled the good virtues of Engr Ufuoma after the reading of his citation and he handed the award to Prof Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi, who represented Engr Ufuoma as he was unavoidably absent sequel to operational reasons.

I dedicate this award to the Almighty God Jehovah, and to all Environmental Crusaders past and present, who have been championing the course of a green and sustainable environment. The level of environmental degradation caused by the activities of mankind is alarming. Jehovah God has given the earth as a home to mankind, and it is our responsibility to make it clean, green and habitable.
With this award by the Africa Cleanup Initiative, I am propelled to do more to raise awareness on the need for all to join hands to protect the environment for the good of mankind. Though it is beyond human capability to return the earth to its original state as designed God, the Almighty still expects us to to take care of our immediate environment and be good stewards of the earthly home he has given to us, pending when his kingdom takes over rulership of the earth – Isaiah 65:21-23; Rev 21:3-5.
