Kebbi state house of assembly Hon. Ismaila Abdulmummuni Kamba, and his deputy, Muhammadu Buhari Aliyu, have been impeached.
20 out of the 24 members of the assembly supported the impeachment.

The new speaker is Muhammad Abubakar Lolo, who represents Bagudo West, and the new deputy speaker is Mohammaed Usman Zuru, who represents the Zuru constituency.
Reason for the impeachment is yet unknown.
