Personal Background
Prof. Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi, a native of Umulogho Obowo in Imo State, Eastern part of Nigeria. He was born on the 15th day of November 1963; to the family of Late Mr and Mrs Lazarus Okeke.
Happily married to Dr (Mrs.) Gift Ngozi Okeke (a retired Shell Staff), with four lovely and professional children. Namely Dr. Marvellous Gozirim (Medical Doctor & Specialist Oncologist), Miss Melody Chioma (Banker & Nollywood star), Miss Amanda Fumfum and Master David Ebube (Igwe in the waiting-Ezeafulukwe 11 of Obowo Autonomous Community).

Prof. Okeke Gerald Ndubuisi has garnered the much-needed experience and exposure in the oil and gas industry, spanning over a period of 32 years as a certified Safety & Environmental Specialist.

Career Summary In The Oil And Gas Sector
- Constantly be involved during Pipeline Repairs in Chevron Onshore Areas of Operations especially during the ugly unrest where pipelines are impacted and breached, and Environmental Response team ER are deployed to carry out detailed Clean Up before JIV (Joint Investigation Visit) are conducted.
- Involved in Environmental Impact Assessment team to carry out assessment on Pre-Dredging of areas of operations and make reports for considerations to stakeholders in conjunction with Federal and State Government representatives within Chevron and SPDC West Operations
- Constantly be an interface with Community related issues and Company to address community issues and make resolutions through PGPA team, Etc.
- Constantly involved in Safety Audits/Inspections of Contractors tools & Equipment prior to mobilization to work site.
- Constantly involved in Risk Assessment prior to carrying out high risk jobs within the company/work site.

- Involved in training of Contractors workers before mobilization to work site on PPHA, ARB, OE/IIF programs, etc.
One of the central themes of his chosen career in the last three decades, was ensuring that no one gets hurt while working and the knowledge he gathered from these courses have helped him to reduce accidents and incidents at all work sites he has managed.
He has equally trained up to 5,000 students in higher institutions in Nigeria as a certified Instructor/Trainer by Chevron, Noble Drilling-USA, and Institute for Safety Professionals of Nigeria.
He is a resource person for organized seminars on Safety, Health and Environment for Radio and Television Houses, Secondary schools, Universities, Polytechnics and oil service companies that works within the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria & beyond.
