A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo state, Chief Alan B Onyemaechi has commended governor Hope Uzodinma for initiating the meeting of critical Stakeholders in the 27 LGAS in Imo State.

Alan B who was a former Special Adviser on Inter Party Affairs said governor Uzodinma’s initiative in inviting credible Imo sons and daughters to seek ways of tackling the security challenges facing the State and the way forward for Imo people is highly commendable saying it takes a leader with vision and an unbridled humility to make the peace efforts.
The Aboh Mbaise born politician and astute businessman also eulogized the governor for the wonderful and durable projects going on in the entire state saying the road networks and the roundabouts in the state capital can be comparable to anyone in the civilized world.

He said: “I sincerely want to commend the governor for his vision in initiating the current peace efforts by inviting credible and well known Imolites across party divides both in the country and in the diaspora.
Despite the distractions that the governor is facing particularly the insecurity, he has gone ahead in putting in place durable projects such as the new Exco Chambers, the Governor’s Lodge, the Pentagon, the First Lady’s office and numerous road networks which cut accross the 27 LGA of the State.
I am also pleased that His Excellency has reached out to those families and the security agencies who are affected by the current security challenges, this is commendable”.
Chief Alan B Onyemaechi equally commended the governor for instituting the Judicial Panel of Enquiry on the EndSARS crisis which he Alan B was a member saying in all their sittings, the governor made sure that the Committee enjoyed a good atmosphere.

He believed that the report if well implemented will usher in a new era in the relationship between the people of Imo state and security operatives in the state.
Chief Alan B also commended the governor for the successful membership revalidation of APC members and for reaching out to credible and prominent members of the party describing the governor’s gesture as a mark of a true statesman.
He however called on the opposition and other stakeholders in the state to support the governor in his resolve to change the narrative of Imo politics insisting that there can be only one governor at a time in Imo State.

Chief Alan B finally appealed to those who are unleashing the mayhem affecting the State and the South East region to Sheathe their swords and allow for more consultation to resolve the issues.
