The Holy Trinity orphanage home in Obeama-Asa Oyigbo housing over 50 Children ranging from 1- 18 years, has been taken over by flood.

According to a report, the orphans rooms, chaple, stores are now flooded, these problem has been occurring since the past ten years. The children have been suffering as the result of the Flood causing them a lot of health problems and physical challenges, according a statement from an eyewitness, each time it rains, the whole premise of the home would be flooded.
One of the caretakers of the orphanage home who spoke with the Hotmedia.ng said that Sometimes around 12- 1am in the midnight the orphans and their little belongings would be over taken by flood whenever it rains.

A report according to Engr. Cyril S.Mba who spoke with our correspondent and gave his phone number “08162200200”, for future inquiries, said the cause of the flooding is the position of the Down Proof Coarse (DPC) of the building, is very low and the solution to the flood, is to renforece the existing building to a storybuiling, thereby making the grand floor DPC up to 6-7 coarse

The management and the caretakers appeal to the good spirited individuals and organizations to come to their aid.
Their statement reads :
“This cannot be accomplished without your help, we plead if there is any way you can be of help to save the life of this children, for they have no other Home, nothing is too small and too big for the reforcement of the house to a storey building.
