PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
The people of Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo state, hereby regret to inform the general public that the ITUAKA FESTIVAL of Nguru Uboma Ahiaise will not hold in the year 2021.
ITUAKA is an annual Festival that signals the commencement of Farming Season in Nguru Uboma .
The decision was taken in adherence to the state and Federal Government regulations on COVID 19.
We regret any inconvenience(s) this might cause the entire people of Mbaise Nation and Nguru Uboma Mbaise in particular.
The reigning Uboma, Eze James Nnamdi ( Duru-Ji- Aku Uboma 2) wishes Sons and daughters of Nguru Uboma a fruitful Farming Season while urging them to stay safe by observing all covid 19 protocols. He prayed God to safe guard all sons and daughters of Nguru; both at home and in diaspora.
